These kinds of providers process personal data for ViewGum so we can run the service. Each is bound by terms that limit its use of the data to providing its service to us. Most of them process data in the United States; where data moves from the EEA or the UK, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism. AI providers
- Purpose:
- Writing, voice, captions and pictures for the shorts you make
- Data:
- Prompts, scripts, the audio of an upload, a few still frames, reference pictures
Cloud hosting and storage
- Purpose:
- Running the app, storing and rendering your media, and encrypted backups
- Data:
- Account and project records, uploads, exports
Sign-in
- Purpose:
- Signing in with Google
- Data:
- Name, email, profile picture
Payments
- Purpose:
- Subscriptions, top-ups, receipts and taxes
- Data:
- Billing details (card details go to the payment processor only)
- Purpose:
- Account email and, where you agreed, product email
- Data:
- Email address, message content
Analytics
- Purpose:
- Cookieless page counts
- Data:
- Requests, IP address, page views
