Faceless YouTube Shorts generator
Type a topic, pick about how long it runs, and ViewGum makes a narrated faceless short of that length, with the script, a narrator voice, pictures in a Cutout, Paper, Cartoon or Stickman look, captions, music and sound effects. Or pick a drawn format, Escalation, Size comparison, Explainer, 3D Build or Custom motion, made with no narrator. It's made for YouTube Shorts and fits TikTok, Instagram Reels and Facebook Reels too, with post copy for each.

How a faceless short is made
- Type a topic, or pick one of the titles ViewGum suggests for your channel.
- Pick a structure, or let ViewGum choose one.
- Pick a look: Cutout, Paper, Cartoon, Stickman, or Surprise me for a different one each time. Or pick a drawn format: Escalation, Size comparison, Explainer, 3D Build or Custom motion.
- ViewGum writes the script, checks its facts, narrates it in your channel's voice, makes the pictures, and adds captions, music and sound effects.
- Watch it, then rewrite a line, swap or add a gag, or change the voice and its pace, and export.
Structures
- Dark facts
- A list of unsettling facts.
- Could you survive it
- What it would do to you.
- Interview

- What if
- One change, played out.
- Journey

With no pick, ViewGum chooses, and never the same structure twice in a row.

- Surprise me
- A different one of these three each time.
- Escalation
- A number doubles past real landmarks, in 3D. A drawn format, with no narrator.
- Size comparison
- Anything lined up by real size, from animals to planets. A drawn format, with no narrator.
- Explainer
- A narrated answer drawn as charts, icons and moving type. A drawn format, with no narrator.
- 3D Build
- A little builder makes a bridge, a dam, a ship or a roller coaster, one fix at a time. A drawn format, with no narrator.
- Custom motion
- New animation drawn for your topic, line by line, with a voice. A drawn format, with no narrator.
The voice
Your channel has one narrator, picked from the voice library and read at a slower, normal or faster pace. An interview casts other voices for the people in it.
Why the shorts don't all look alike
- The caption look, the color grade and the accent turn over from short to short, going by your recent ones.
- Each short gets a different music bed from the one before it.
- Interviews open in several ways, and never the way one of your last three did.
- Surprise me changes the look each time, and with no structure picked the structure changes too.
Facts you can check
After the script is written, a second pass checks each fact and keeps it, corrects it or drops it, and lines that leaned on a dropped fact are rewritten. The Facts and sources panel lists what's left with the source named for each, so you can check them before you post.

Questions
What is a faceless video?
A video where the creator isn't on camera: a narrator tells it over pictures, footage or animation. ViewGum's faceless shorts are narrated over drawn pictures in a Cutout, Paper, Cartoon or Stickman look, or drawn whole with no narrator in a drawn format (Escalation, Size comparison, Explainer, 3D Build or Custom motion).
Can you monetize faceless Shorts?
To join YouTube's Partner Program, a channel needs 1,000 subscribers and either 4,000 public long-form watch hours in 12 months or 10 million qualified Shorts views in 90 days. YouTube doesn't monetize AI content made with generic or unoriginal templates that gives the impression of mass production, and allows automated tools when the result shows your creative vision and has educational or entertainment value (YouTube Help, checked October 18, 2026).
Do I need to label it as AI?
YouTube asks creators to disclose AI-made or altered content that seems realistic, and says content that isn't realistic needs no label (YouTube Help, checked October 18, 2026). TikTok requires a label on realistic AI content (TikTok Newsroom, May 9, 2024). Whether a short needs one is your call under each platform's rules.
How long is a faceless short?
You pick it: 15 to 90 seconds in 15-second steps, about 30 unless you change it. A short lands within a fifth of the length you pick, interviews run 30 seconds or more, and the price follows the length. A drawn format runs within its own range.
Won't my shorts all look the same?
Looks, structures, caption styles, music and openers turn over from one short to the next, and you rewrite lines, swap gags and pick the voice. The topic and the final say are yours.
Which voices can narrate?
Any narrator in the voice library, at a slower, normal or faster pace. You set one for the channel, and you can change it on any short.
